The time that Al Capone lived was a perfect time for a gang to rise up. The Roaring Twenties was full of parties and night life. And when alcohol was outlawed it was a perfect time for people to illegally make and sell it. It was a cash machine just waiting for someone to take. Everywhere people needed their thirst quenched. With all of the night life in the U.S at the time alcohol was needed all around. This was an opportunity that Al Capone took. He moved to Chicago where the night life was booming and the people needed alcohol and he was the supplier. With prohibition Al Capone was able to take a gang and make it into a 105 million dollar a year business.
